Day 1Arrival in Vienna

Arrive in Vienna and check into your hotel. Take some time to freshen up and relax. Begin your exploration with a visit to Schönbrunn Palace. Tour the opulent rooms and wander through the extensive gardens. Stroll around St. Stephen’s Cathedral in the city center and explore the vibrant Graben area. Enjoy dinner at a traditional Viennese restaurant.

Day 2Vienna Exploration

Visit the Hofburg Palace, including the Imperial Apartments, the Sisi Museum, and the Spanish Riding School if you’re interested in equestrian performances. Explore the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Art History) or Belvedere Palace, which houses a collection of artworks including pieces by Gustav Klimt. Experience a classical music performance at the Vienna State Opera or Musikverein. Have dinner in a nearby restaurant.

Day 3Vienna to Salzburg

Travel to Salzburg by train (approximately 2.5 hours). Check into your hotel upon arrival. Explore Salzburg’s Old Town (Altstadt), including Mozart’s Birthplace and the Getreidegasse. Visit Hohensalzburg Fortress for panoramic views of the city and enjoy dinner at a local Austrian restaurant.

Day 4Salzburg Exploration

Visit Mirabell Palace and Gardens. Take a leisurely stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens. Explore Salzburg Cathedral and St. Peter’s Abbey. Optionally, visit Hellbrunn Palace and its famous trick fountains.Enjoy a meal at a traditional restaurant in the  heart of Salzburg and explore the city’s charming evening atmosphere.

Day 5Salzburg to Innsbruck

 Travel to Innsbruck by train (approximately 2 hours). Check into your hotel. Explore Innsbruck’s Old Town, visiting the Golden Roof and strolling through the historic streets. Dine at a Tyrolean restaurant, sampling local specialties, and relax in the picturesque Alpine setting.

Day 6Innsbruck Exploration

Visit Schloss Ambras, a Renaissance castle with beautiful gardens and impressive collections. Take a cable car to the Nordkette mountain range for breathtaking views of the Alps. Enjoy some time in the snow or simply take in the scenery. Have dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy your final evening in Innsbruck.

Day 7Innsbruck to Dubrovnik

 Travel to Dubrovnik by flight (you may need to connect through another city). Check into your hotel in Dubrovnik. Begin your exploration of Dubrovnik with a walk along the City Walls for stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the Old Town.  Explore the Stradun (Placa) and enjoy dinner at a restaurant with a view of the sea.

Day 8Dubrovnik Exploration

Visit Dubrovnik Cathedral and the Rector’s Palace. Explore the Old Town and its charming streets. Take a cable car to Srd Hill for panoramic views of Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. Enjoy a seafood dinner at one of Dubrovnik’s waterfront restaurants.

Day 9Dubrovnik to Split

Travel to Split by bus or ferry (approximately 4-5 hours). Check into your hotel upon arrival. Explore Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through the old town and visit the Peristyle and Cellars. Walk along the Riva, Split’s waterfront promenade, and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10Split Exploration

Visit Marjan Hill for panoramic views of Split and its surroundings. Explore the Ivan Mestrovic Gallery if you’re interested in Croatian art. Relax at Bacvice Beach or explore the local markets and shops. Have dinner in the old town and experience Split’s vibrant nightlife.

Day 11Split to Zagreb

Travel to Zagreb by train or bus (approximately 6-7 hours). Check into your hotel. Explore Zagreb’s Upper Town (Gornji Grad), including St. Mark’s Church, the Lotrscak Tower, and Zagreb Cathedral. Stroll through Tkalciceva Street and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in this lively area.

Day 12Zagreb Exploration

Visit the Mimara Museum or the Museum of Broken Relationships. Walk through Zagreb’s Lower Town (Donji Grad) and explore Ban Jelacic Square. Relax in Zagreb’s Botanical Garden or visit Maksimir Park. Enjoy your last dinner in Croatia, sampling traditional Croatian cuisine.

Day 13Zagreb to Vienna , Departure from Vienna

Travel back to Vienna by train or flight. Depending on your flight time, you may have some final moments for last-minute shopping or a leisurely breakfast. Depart from Vienna for your onward journey or flight home.
